Now if you want to know how to use passwords saved on iCloud Keychain with websites on other operating systems. In this guide, we are going to show you how to use iCloud saved password on Chrome web browser running Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.
Note that this only works for Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems and the older iCloud available for Windows 7 and 8 will not work with the Chrome browser extension. This feature requires iCloud with version 12 or newer on your device.
How to use iCloud Keychain passwords in Chrome for Windows
Step 1: Open the Microsoft Store on your Windows computer. To do this, you can open the Start menu and search for the term “Microsoft Store” and click on it to open the application.
2nd step: In the Microsoft Store, search for “iCloud” in the search box in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Now download and install the iCloud for Windows app on your device.
Step 4: Once done, click on the “Approve” button next to “Passwords” and enter your Apple credentials to approve the password sync on your computer. After that, check the box next to the “Password” option.
Step 5: After setting up iCloud, open Chrome web browser on your computer and go to the online store, find the iCloud Passwords browser extension and install it.
