Indian Army Recruitment 2021: Apply for Technical Graduate Course at – Check age limit, latest date, how to apply and more


Indian Army has invited applications from eligible unmarried engineering graduate men for the 133rd Technical Graduate Course (TGC-133) starting in July 2021 at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun for Standing Committee of the Indian army. No less than 40 candidates will be selected as part of this recruitment campaign for the Indian army. Interested candidates should apply for the Indian Army course no later than March 26.

Applicants applying for the 133rd Indian Army Technical Graduate Course must be between 20 and 27 years of age as of July 1. Applicants must be born between July 2, 1994 and July 1, 2001, both dates included.

Applicants who have successfully completed the required engineering degree course or who are in the final year of an engineering course are eligible. Candidates studying in the final year of the engineering course must be able to present proof of passing the engineering degree examination as well as the grade sheets for all semesters / years by July 1, 2021 and produce the Engg diploma certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at Indian Military Academy (IMA).

Commission type
(a) Grant of Commission. Selected candidates will be granted a short-term service commission on probation at the rank of lieutenant from the start date of the course or the date of report to the IMA, whichever is later and will be entitled to the full compensation and allowances eligible to the lieutenant during the training period. Remuneration and allowances will be paid after successful completion of the training.
(b) Standing committee. Upon successful completion of training, cadets will receive a standing commission in the military at the rank of lieutenant.
(c) Seniority prior to the date. Seniority of one year from the date of entry into service will be granted to engineers graduating from TGC Entry to the rank of lieutenant.

How to register
(a) Applications will only be accepted online on the website Click on “Officer Entry Apply / Login”, then click on “Registration” (registration is not required if you are already registered at Complete the online registration form after carefully reading the instructions. After registering, click “Apply Online” under Dashboard. A Selection of ‘Eligibility’ Officers page will open. Then click “Apply” displayed against the graduate technical course. An ‘Application form‘ page will open. Read the instructions carefully and click “Continue” to fill in the required details under different segments –
Personal information, communication details, education details and previous SSB details. “Save and continue” each time before moving on to the next segment. After filling in the details of the last segment, you will be taken to a “Summary of your information” page where you can review and modify the entries already made. It is only after having verified the accuracy of your data that you click on “Send now”. Applicants should click “Submit Now” each time they open the application to change the details. Candidates are required to collect two copies of their application file bearing the list number, 30 minutes after the final closing of the online application on the last day.
