The defending champions and the most successful team in the history of the competition with 11 trophies, El Tri is one of the big favorites.

The Soca Warriors, meanwhile, had to go through the qualifying phase to secure their place in the tournament, but will be eager to emulate their performances in the 2015 edition, when they reach the quarterfinals.
