1 In this notice, a reference to a rule or annex by number is a reference to the rule or annex so numbered in the Land Registration Rules 2003 (SI 2003/1417), as amended from time to time. other.

Currency of the notice

2. This notice is updated for the purposes of Schedule 2 as of September 3, 2018 and replaces as of that date the notice dated April 3, 2018 with respect to requests made orally in a land registry office in HM, customer information center.

Oral requests

3.Applications can be made orally:

(a) by appointment only at a client information center of an HM land registry office,

(b) in all cases, an appointment must be made at least 72 hours in advance before coming to the office concerned.

Service available

4.1 Arrangements have been made to process the following requests and questions orally at the HM Land Registry Client Information Centers:

(a) requests for inspection and copying of records and documents under section 66 (1) of the Land Titles Act 2002, to which rule 133 applies,

(b) requests for official copies of a registered document or the cautionary register under Rule 134,

(c) requests for official copies of documents referred to in the register of titles and other documents kept by the Registrar under Rule 135,

(d) requests for an official priority search of the entire estate in a registered title or the entire estate in a pending first application for registration under Rule 149, and

(e) issue official search certificates with priority of the entire succession in a registered title or the entire succession in a pending first application for registration under Rule 149, and

(f) requests for an official search without priority of the entire estate in a title registered under Rule 155.

4.2 This notice is not relevant notice for the purposes of Rules 133 (11), 134 (8) and 135 (5). Only control and copies of an entire register or document may be carried out.

5.The services are subject to the appropriate provisions of paragraphs 6 to 11.

When services are available

6. Nominations may only be presented in connection with an appointment as required by paragraph 3, on a day referred to in subparagraph (a) and at a time referred to in subparagraph (b).

(a) Opening days

Any day from Monday to Friday which is not Christmas Day, Good Friday or a day specified or proclaimed as a public holiday in England and Wales in or under the Bank Transactions Act 1971 and financial.

(b) Time of day

Between 0830 hours and 1800 hours a day in (a).

7.Candidates cannot be seen without an appointment.

Limitations of available services

8.Requests for inspection and copying of documents under paragraph 4 (a) may only be made with respect to records and documents kept by the Registrar in electronic form.

9.Requests under subsection 4 (b) and (c) for official copies may only be made with respect to records and documents kept by the Registrar in electronic form.

10.An official research certificate may only be issued orally in the following cases:

a) in the case of an official registry search, the search result indicates that there are no unfavorable entries, no pending applications and no official searches, no official searches that fall within the scope of paragraphs F, G or H of the annex to part 3 6,

b) in the case of an official search for land subject to a first pending registration, the search result indicates that there are no pending requests or official searches which fall under paragraphs H or I of Part 4 of Schedule 6.

Mandatory information

11.Each applicant must provide the information requested by a member of the HM Land Register as required in the form prescribed for the application when made by post, exchange of documents or personal delivery.
