UnitedMasters Launches Beat Exchange – Hypebot


UnitedMasters has launched its own marketplace for buying and selling beats. It’s not exactly groundbreaking, but it’s a smart addition to the company’s popular and growing list of features and services for indie musicians.

UnitedMastersthe “pocket label” for independent artists, announced the release of Exchange beats, a curated marketplace for buying and selling beats. The Beat Exchange connects producers with UnitedMasters’ 1.5 million independent artists while providing them with best-in-class tools to upload and manage a personal storefront of beats.

UnitedMasters artists now have access to purchase or license beats from emerging and established producers, like the 3-time Grammy Award-winning producer Hit Boy (Nas, Drake, Beyoncé)́ , turbo (Gunna, Travis Scott, Lil Baby), Sham “Sak Pase” Joseph (Kodak Black, Rihanna, SAINt Jhn), Kato on the track and David Morse who is currently on the Billboard Hot 100 for Lil Durk’s song “Headtaps.”

The new offering is designed to simplify the search for beats when searching for specific sounds (genre, mood, instrument, etc.) and drive discovery through editorial playlists that highlight emerging and established producers. The Beat Exchange is available on the UnitedMasters desktop app and mobile app which is now available for download on iPhone and Android.

Beat Exchange will provide participating producers with:

  • Licence : A choice of three licensing models – non-exclusive, exclusive, or buyout – and the ability to customize sales needs, including price and contract length
  • Brands + Synchronization: Exclusive opportunities to monetize or license your beats with top global brands like ESPN and the NBA with additional opportunities to have your beats featured in TV shows, movies, video games, and more.
  • Organized discovery: Designed to simplify navigation, beats are cleverly organized by specific sounds (genre, mood, instrument, etc.) and editorial playlists will encourage discovery

Coinciding with the launch of Beat Exchange, UnitedMasters is also releasing “Who Made The Beat?” – a new content series, brought to you by Crown Royal 18, spotlighting the industry’s top producers sharing the stories behind the hit debut record that put them on the map. The episodes will feature Slade Da Monsta on Cardi B’s “Press” Phonix beats on “No Role Modelz” by J. Cole, Mr DJ on the iconic “Ms. Jackson”, and more.
